In this small scale shelter I wanted to experiment with shapes and materials taken from buildings that are traditionally quite large. I used canvas, metal sheets and metal frames. I used the O2 arena and the Burj Al Arab hotel for inspiration.

-I’m trying to make metal and canvas work together. They have quite opposite features. Perhaps that’s why they work so well.
